Exam records, accreditation files and research, with copies off campus
Colleges keep student records, exam results, accreditation evidence and research data across an exam cell, an accounts office, department labs and a server room. triplicate gives each of them two more copies.
What you hold, and where it lives today
Usually one copy, in one place. That's the part we fix.
| Records | Where they usually live |
|---|---|
| Student records and enrolments | The college management system or admin server |
| Marks, results and answer-sheet scans | The exam cell's server or PCs |
| NAAC and NBA evidence: documents, photos, reports | A shared drive kept by the IQAC |
| Fees, scholarships and accounts | The accounts office |
| Research data and theses | Department lab PCs and personal laptops |
| Library catalogue | The library PC |
How it actually gets lost
- An alumnus needs a transcript or a degree verification years later. The marks database is the only source.
- Accreditation evidence is collected over years and often lives on whichever coordinator's laptop held it last.
- Research data on a lab PC or a student's laptop disappears when the project ends.
- Campus networks carry hundreds of student devices. Ransomware on one office PC can reach shared drives.
What we back up
You choose the folders and mailboxes. Copy one stays with you; copies two and three go to two storage providers you choose, one of them on another continent (Mumbai or Hyderabad if your data must stay in India).
Servers
Admin and exam databases sent to our S3-compatible endpoint every night by your IT team.
Office and department PCs
The desktop agent on Windows and Linux machines in the exam cell, IQAC and labs.
Office and department mailboxes, copied every few hours.
Locked copies
Object lock keeps exam records that can't be changed or deleted until the date you set.
How it works
- 1
We set it up with you
A short call. We pick the computers, phones and mailboxes that matter and set up the agent or app together.
- 2
It runs on its own
New and changed files are encrypted and copied every night; email every few hours. Nobody has to remember.
- 3
Restore when you need to
Dead disk, deleted folder or ransomware: download yesterday's files, or last month's, from any computer.
Which plan
Enterprise, prepaid annual commitment
A college with a management system, an exam cell and several departments usually fits a prepaid annual commitment. You pay for the storage you use at the rates of the two providers you choose, with a ₹200 monthly minimum.
Prepaid only: top up by UPI, card or net banking and we deduct each month. No auto-debit. Prices exclude 18% GST. How pricing works.
Get a call back
Leave a phone number or email and we'll call to understand your setup, usually within one working day. triplicate is in early access: we're setting up a small number of businesses by hand first.
