Your Indian papers, wherever you live now
Living abroad means your passport, OCI or visa papers are with you, the property papers are with your parents, and the scans are in an email from years ago. Every Indian office still asks for originals and copies.
What you have, and where it lives
Usually one copy, in one place. That's the part we fix.
| What | Where it usually is |
|---|---|
| Passport, visa, OCI and PAN scans | Your laptop, wherever you are |
| Property papers in India | Parents' cupboard or a relative's house |
| NRE/NRO account papers and tax filings in India | Email from your bank and your CA |
| Parents' medical records and insurance | At their home in India |
| Family photos and video-call screenshots | Phones on two continents |
How it usually gets lost
- A property sale or a bank form in India needs a document that's in your parents' cupboard, and they can't find it over a video call.
- Your laptop is stolen abroad with every scan of your Indian documents on it.
- A parent falls ill and you need their insurance policy and medical history from the other side of the world, quickly.
- The old Indian mobile number linked to an email account is lost, and so is the way to recover that account.
What we back up
You choose what goes up. Copy one stays on your phone or laptop; copies two and three go to two storage providers you choose, one of them on another continent (Mumbai or Hyderabad if your data must stay in India).
Your documents
ID, visa and property scans from your phone or laptop, encrypted before upload.
Your parents' papers
Add your parents to a family account, so the papers they scan in India are in the shared vault for you too.
Two continents
Two providers you choose, one of them on another continent. For many NRIs that means one copy in Mumbai or Hyderabad and one nearer where they live.
Sharing with an agent
Send one document to a CA or a lawyer in India with a link that expires.
Good habits, with or without us
- Ask a sibling or relative in India to help your parents scan the property and insurance papers once. After that, only new papers need adding.
- Keep scans of your passport, visa and PAN somewhere you can reach from a borrowed computer, not only on one laptop.
- Update the recovery phone number and email on your Indian accounts if your Indian number has lapsed.
- Print the recovery kit you get at setup and keep it with your other important papers. Your files are encrypted on your phone before upload and we can't reset your passphrase, so the kit is how you get back in.
How it works
- 1
Pick what matters
When the app launches, install it on your iPhone or Android phone and choose: photos, the folders you want, contacts, your mailbox. Nothing else leaves your phone.
- 2
It runs on its own
New photos and files are encrypted and copied in the background; email every few hours. Nobody has to remember.
- 3
Get it back
New phone, deleted file or lost laptop: restore everything, or bring back one document from version history.
What it costs
Prepaid, minimum ₹200 a month
You pay for the storage you use at the rates of the two providers you choose, with a ₹200 monthly minimum. Top up by UPI, card or net banking. No auto-debit, no card on file. Prices exclude 18% GST. How pricing works.
