How it actually gets lost
- The imaging PC often runs only the sensor software and is never touched. When its disk fails, years of X-rays go with it.
- Before-and-after photos for implant and aligner cases sit on one phone. Lose it and the case record is incomplete.
- Implant and orthodontic treatment runs for months or years. You need the first X-ray as much as the latest.
- Signed consent forms matter if a treatment is questioned later.

You choose the folders and mailboxes. Copy one stays with you; copies two and three go to two storage providers you choose, one of them on another continent (Mumbai or Hyderabad if your data must stay in India).

Imaging folders grow steadily. You pay for the storage you use at the rates of the two providers you choose, with a ₹200 monthly minimum.
