Every report you've issued, retrievable years later
Pathology labs and imaging centres issue reports every day from the lab software and the machines. triplicate keeps two more copies of the database, the reports, the QC logs and the images.
What you hold, and where it lives today
Usually one copy, in one place. That's the part we fix.
| Records | Where they usually live |
|---|---|
| Patients, tests and results | The lab software's database on a server or main PC |
| Signed PDF reports | The lab software's folder, also sent on WhatsApp and email |
| QC and calibration logs | Spreadsheets and the PCs attached to analysers |
| Ultrasound, X-ray and CT images | The imaging workstations |
| Collection centre and B2B billing | Lab software and the accounts PC |
| SOPs and staff training records for accreditation | A shared folder |
How it actually gets lost
- A patient or doctor asks for last year's report to compare. Reissuing it needs the database, not just loose PDFs.
- QC and calibration logs are the first thing an assessor asks for, and they're often spreadsheets on one PC.
- The lab server stays on day and night and is reachable from collection centres, which makes it an easy target for ransomware.
- When an imaging workstation fills up, someone deletes old studies to make room.
What we back up
You choose the folders and mailboxes. Copy one stays with you; copies two and three go to two storage providers you choose, one of them on another continent (Mumbai or Hyderabad if your data must stay in India).
Lab database
A nightly database backup, so the whole system can be restored, not just the PDFs.
Reports and QC
The reports folder and QC spreadsheets, with older versions kept.
Images
Imaging folders, via the desktop agent or our S3-compatible endpoint.
Locked copies
Object lock keeps copies that can't be changed or deleted until the date you set, even by ransomware with an admin password.
Share bills with your CA, every month
Your accountant needs the same papers every GST month and every July. Put them in one shared folder instead of sending photos over WhatsApp.
A 'For my CA' folder
Supplier bills you scan, sales reports and bank statements are filed by financial year and month automatically.
Your CA opens it directly
Invite your CA by phone or email. They view and download what they need, when they need it.
Returns come back to the same place
Let your CA add files, so filed returns and acknowledgements sit next to the bills they came from.
You stay in control
See what was opened and downloaded, and remove access in one tap. Nothing else in your backup is shared.
How it works
- 1
We set it up with you
A short call. We pick the computers, phones and mailboxes that matter and set up the agent or app together.
- 2
It runs on its own
New and changed files are encrypted and copied every night; email every few hours. Nobody has to remember.
- 3
Restore when you need to
Dead disk, deleted folder or ransomware: download yesterday's files, or last month's, from any computer.
Which plan
Business, prepaid, minimum ₹200 a month
A pathology-only lab is mostly database and PDFs, often under 100 GB. Imaging centres store far more. You pay for the storage you use at the rates of the two providers you choose, with a ₹200 monthly minimum.
Prepaid only: top up by UPI, card or net banking and we deduct each month. No auto-debit. Prices exclude 18% GST. How pricing works.
Get a call back
Leave a phone number or email and we'll call to understand your setup, usually within one working day. triplicate is in early access: we're setting up a small number of businesses by hand first.
