Backups that don't share an account with production
Agencies usually back up into the same cloud account as production. triplicate is a separate S3-compatible target, with copies at two providers on two continents and object lock for immutable backups.
What you hold, and where it lives today
Usually one copy, in one place. That's the part we fix.
| Records | Where they usually live |
|---|---|
| Source code repositories | A hosted Git service and developers' laptops |
| Production and staging databases | Cloud servers or managed databases |
| Client assets, designs and contracts | Shared drives |
| Project documentation and handover notes | A wiki and shared drives |
| Company email | Hosted mailboxes |
| Invoices, GST returns and export paperwork | Your accountant |
How it actually gets lost
- Backups in the same cloud account as production go with it: one leaked key, a suspended account or a billing dispute.
- A client server you look after is hit by ransomware, and the first question is why the backups could be deleted.
- Repositories and documents belong to an ex-employee's personal account.
- The contract promises backups, but nobody has tested a restore.
What we back up
You choose the folders and mailboxes. Copy one stays with you; copies two and three go to two storage providers you choose, one of them on another continent (Mumbai or Hyderabad if your data must stay in India).
S3-compatible endpoint
Point restic, rclone or pgBackRest at it, with credentials separate from your production cloud.
Second provider, second continent
Replication to another provider happens on our side.
Object lock
Immutable copies that can't be deleted until the retention date, even with the access key.
Mailboxes and laptops
IMAP mailboxes and the desktop agent on Windows and Linux machines.
Share bills with your CA, every month
Your accountant needs the same papers every GST month and every July. Put them in one shared folder instead of sending photos over WhatsApp.
A 'For my CA' folder
Supplier bills you scan, sales reports and bank statements are filed by financial year and month automatically.
Your CA opens it directly
Invite your CA by phone or email. They view and download what they need, when they need it.
Returns come back to the same place
Let your CA add files, so filed returns and acknowledgements sit next to the bills they came from.
You stay in control
See what was opened and downloaded, and remove access in one tap. Nothing else in your backup is shared.
How it works
- 1
We set it up with you
A short call. We pick the computers, phones and mailboxes that matter and set up the agent or app together.
- 2
It runs on its own
New and changed files are encrypted and copied every night; email every few hours. Nobody has to remember.
- 3
Restore when you need to
Dead disk, deleted folder or ransomware: download yesterday's files, or last month's, from any computer.
Which plan
Business, prepaid, minimum ₹200 a month
Agencies backing up many client systems can ask about an annual Enterprise commitment. You pay for the storage you use at the rates of the two providers you choose, with a ₹200 monthly minimum.
Prepaid only: top up by UPI, card or net banking and we deduct each month. No auto-debit. Prices exclude 18% GST. How pricing works.
Get a call back
Leave a phone number or email and we'll call to understand your setup, usually within one working day. triplicate is in early access: we're setting up a small number of businesses by hand first.
