A season's designs and every job-work challan, backed up every night
Garment units, mills and wholesalers keep designs, buyer orders, job-work challans and stock across a design PC, an accounts PC and several phones. triplicate copies all of it to two more places.
What you hold, and where it lives today
Usually one copy, in one place. That's the part we fix.
| Records | Where they usually live |
|---|---|
| Designs, patterns and tech packs | The design PC |
| Buyer POs, sample approvals and size breakups | Email and WhatsApp |
| Job-work challans for fabric sent to dyers, printers and embroiderers | The accounts PC and challan books |
| Stock of fabric, trims and finished goods | Inventory software or spreadsheets |
| Accounts and GST returns | The accounts PC |
| Piece-rate wages and attendance | Payroll sheets |
How it actually gets lost
- A design library built over many seasons sits on one design PC. When its disk fails, those files can't be redrawn from memory.
- Fabric out with job workers is tracked challan by challan. Lose the records and you can't reconcile what came back against what went out.
- Buyer approvals of a sample's colour, fit and trims are in chat. If a shipment is disputed, those messages are your evidence.
- Lint and humidity on a factory floor are hard on computers, and the design PC is usually right there.
What we back up
You choose the folders and mailboxes. Copy one stays with you; copies two and three go to two storage providers you choose, one of them on another continent (Mumbai or Hyderabad if your data must stay in India).
Design folders
Pattern and design files with older versions kept, so last season's approved version is still there.
Accounts, stock and challans
The accounting software's data folder and your stock and challan sheets.
Buyer email
The mailboxes where POs and approvals arrive, copied every few hours.
Sample photos
Photos of approved samples and swatches from your phone, kept with the order month.
Share bills with your CA, every month
Your accountant needs the same papers every GST month and every July. Put them in one shared folder instead of sending photos over WhatsApp.
A 'For my CA' folder
Supplier bills you scan, sales reports and bank statements are filed by financial year and month automatically.
Your CA opens it directly
Invite your CA by phone or email. They view and download what they need, when they need it.
Returns come back to the same place
Let your CA add files, so filed returns and acknowledgements sit next to the bills they came from.
You stay in control
See what was opened and downloaded, and remove access in one tap. Nothing else in your backup is shared.
How it works
- 1
We set it up with you
A short call. We pick the computers, phones and mailboxes that matter and set up the agent or app together.
- 2
It runs on its own
New and changed files are encrypted and copied every night; email every few hours. Nobody has to remember.
- 3
Restore when you need to
Dead disk, deleted folder or ransomware: download yesterday's files, or last month's, from any computer.
Which plan
Business, prepaid, minimum ₹200 a month
Design files add up faster than accounts. A small wholesaler with mostly accounts may only ever pay the minimum. You pay for the storage you use at the rates of the two providers you choose, with a ₹200 monthly minimum.
Prepaid only: top up by UPI, card or net banking and we deduct each month. No auto-debit. Prices exclude 18% GST. How pricing works.
Get a call back
Leave a phone number or email and we'll call to understand your setup, usually within one working day. triplicate is in early access: we're setting up a small number of businesses by hand first.
